Brain is the highest coordinating organ in our whole human system. It is protected by a brainy box and also meninges.The entire surface of the brain has cerbro spinal fluid which protects it from shocks.
The brain has divided into 3 main parts
1)forebrain
2) midbrain
3) hindbrain
forebrain is further divided into cerebrum
midbrain has no further divisions
hindbrain is divided into cerebellum pons and medulla oblangata
Functions of parts
Cerebrum---helps to think
midbrain--to control reflex action
pons--to regulate respiration
cerebellum--to control postures of body
medulla oblangata;-;-to control involuntary actions

brain consist of three parts - fore brain, mid brain and hind brain
1. fore brain consists of cerebrum n its function is to control the thinking process, memory, intelligence etc.
2. mid brain doesn't Consist of any division. it's main function is to control the movement of head n neck in response to auditory n visual stimuli
3.hind brain Consist of three parts - a)pons which regulates breathing rate
b) medulla which controls the involuntary actions such as heart beat, digestion, blood pressure etc
c) cerebellum that maintains the body posture .
