Mexico conducts elections just to show that they are a democracy but if we analyse it, then it just simply isn't.For example the main ruiling party of mexico is the PRI. and nobody can go against it :-

1 the media cannot oppose this party. It can only highlight the success of this party.

2 all government employs have to be a member of this party.

3 all the teachers have to create a heroic image of the party in their students minds.

4no other political party can sped more money on advertisement than this party.

5 and this party can shift the voting booth to any place they want at any time.

Hence the elections in this country are not democratic.
