lnuniverse every charge exerts electric as well as magnetic field also
Electric field is a vector quantity having magnitude and it's direction also
it is defined as a region around a charged particle or object within which a force would be
exerted on other Charged Particles or object kept in space
to calculate electric field intensity around any charged particle a positive test charge is to be introduced around it and and it's formula is given by
E = Q/4π€•r²
where Q=charge on the particle ,
1/4π€= absolute permeability of space, and it's value constant=9.1*10the power 9
and r=distance between charge particle and the point where electric field has to be calculated
