Electromagnetic induction is the process of generating electric current with a magneticfield.

It occurs whenever a magnetic field and an electric conductor, such as a coil of wire, move relative to one another.

Electromagnetic induction is the production of an electromotive force in a conductor when it is exposed to a continuously changing magnetic field. The name electromotive force is misleading. It is not a force. It is, in fact a voltage.
