2. This tissue covers most organs and cavities within the body.

3. The cells in this tissue are tightly packed with no intercellular spaces.

4. These tissue helps in absorption of water and nutrients.

5. Epithelial tissue protects the underlying cells from drying injury and chemical effects.

6. Epithelial tissue are of four types on the basis of their shape & function in the cells.

i.e • Squamous Epithelium.
