He ruled from 6 may 1918 till 2 Nov 2004.
He was appointed the governor of the Eastern Region of Abu Dhabi in 1946.
Also he was the principal driving force behind the UAE becoming 1st president,apost held almost 33yrs from 1971 till his death.
