Answer:

An amide has carbonyl grp which withdraw the electron density from the nitrogen. At least two resonance formes are formed O-C-N. This stabilized the unprotonated form of acitamide greatly. Ethylamine on other hand has sp3 hybridized carbonwish put the electron density to the nitrogen which add to the effect that the lone pair of nitrogen is much more available .This is why ethylamine is much more basic than acitamide.
