• It must be based on a free and fair election.

• Each adult citizen must have one vote and each vote must have one value.

• It should rule within limits set by constitutional law and citizens' rights.

We can say India is having the largest democracy in the world by;

• In democracy mistakes are admitted and attempts are made to correct those mistakes.

• The Indian government gives many chances to change our government as it holds election at each 5 years.

• In Indian democracy there are many options to select our leader as if we compare the Indian government of USA then in America there are only two parties in this way we can select our own leader.

•The Indian government gives chances to the press to criticise them.
