The forces whoch originate frok within the earth are called endogenic forces or internal forces.

The forces which originate on the surface of the earth are called exogenic forces or external forces.

The endogenic forces can produce sudden or slow movement or both. These forces also cause horizontal and vertical movements. These sudden movement are experienced through eruption of volcanoes and earthquake.

The exogenic forces can produce erosional and depositional work caused by rivers, wind, glaciers and sea waves.
