F IS THE FORCE

qv is the velocity of the current

B is magnetic field

Both qv and B are vector quantity and if we multipl any vector quantity we apply sin@ .

THANKS :)

EDIT : AS i 've seen ur earlier qs . "WHY MAGNETIC FIELD AND DIRECTION OF CURRENT ARE KEPT PERPENDICULAR"?

i hope u 've understood now!

The value of sin theta is maximum at 90 ° (that is 1) .Hence ,force'll be maximum in that case and also not kept in parallel because sin 180° = 0 , hence f = 0
