Following are the factors affecting the blood pressure:-

  • Obesity - People suffering from obesity have high blood pressure.

  • Exercise - During physical activities like exercise the blood pressure gets increased during this time.

  • In women blood pressure is low whereas in man blood pressure is high.

  • During the state of excitement , and emotional situations either due to fear or some heriditary conditions ,the blood pressure gets increased.

  • Blood pressure increases when there is contraction of arteries and blood cappilaries.

  • When a person is in standing posture the blood pressure is high whereas in laying posture blood pressure is low .
