The factors on which resistance of a conductor depends are as follows:

  1. It depends on the distance of the conductor.
  2. It depends on the quality of the material.
  3. It depends on it's two-dimensional that's (cross sectional) part of the conductor.
  4. It depends on the thickness of the conductor.
  5. It depends on the temperature of the conductor.

To be noted:

  • At the first point I said the distance of the conductor, I mention that (It depends on the conductor's length).

  • The Resistance formula:

R = V/I

Know terms:

  1. Resistance = (R)
  2. Potential difference = (V)
  3. Current = (I)
