faraday explain that an induced current is set up in a coil if it's magnetic field kept changing.

he performed 2 experiments in order to prove that

1. a coil is stationary and a magnet is brought near it. when the magnet is brought close or back the coil an induced current is set up in the coil

2. two coils are placed together and current passes through 1st coil. it results in the changing of magnetic field of the 2nd coil and hence when we switched on or off the current in the 1st coil an induced current is set up in the 2nd coil on account of changing magnetic field..
