Explain feedback mechanism for regulation of hormone secretion with the help of an example.

The interaction between pituitary and other endocrine glands is example of feedback mechanism. like when our body temprature is low or in stress condition stimulates neurosecretory cells in hypothalamus,whose releasing hormone triggers the release of thyroid stimulatimg hormone in anterior pituitary.this hormone stimulates the thyroid to release thyroxine.and thyroxine helps body in metabolic activities and generating ATP and heat.both raise body temprature .

• For eg : the rise of sugar level in the blood stimulates the pancreas to secrete insulin. When the blood sugar level falls , insulin secretion is reduced.
