Hi dear ❤️❤️

In humans, the female reproductive system consists of a pair of ovaries along with a pair of oviducts, uterus, cervix, vagina and the external genitalia located on pelvic region. These parts of the system along with a pair of mammary glands are intergrated structurally and functionally to support the process of ovulation, fertilization, pregnancy, birth and child care ... Ovaries: they are the primary sex organs that produce the female gametes(ovum) and several steroid hormones . ovaries are located one on each side of the lower abdomen . Oviducts, uterus, and vagina consitute the female accessory ducts. Each fallopian tube is about 10-12 cm long and extends from the periphery of each ovary to the uterus, the part closer to the ovary is the infundibulum. The edges of the infundibulum posses finger like projections called fimbriae, which help in collection of the ovum after ovulation... The uterus is single and it is also called womb. The uterus opens into vagina through a narrow cervix.the cavity of the cervix is called cervical canal Which along with vagina forms the birth canal. The female external genitalia include mons pubis, labia majora, labia minora, hymen and clitoris. Mons pubis Is a cushion of fatty tissue covered by skin and pubic hair. The opening of the vagina is often covered partially by a membrane called hymen .

A functional mammary gland is a characteristics of all female mammals.

the female reproductive system is consist of

1. pair of ovaries

2. pair of fallopian tube/ oviduct

3. uterus

4. cervix

1. Ovary: It produce ovum and a female hormone Oestrogen. The female have immatured ovum from birth. After puberty the eggs will develop and released one by one.

The ovum will be released by the process of ovulation. it mainly occurs at the 14th day of a month.

2. Fallopian tube: The fertilization takes place in it. In it the ovum will wait for the sperms to fertilize it for 1 or 2 days.

It is a common passage which connects the ovary and uterus for the passage of sperms and matured ovum both.

3. Uterus: In it the matured ovum gets stick and the ovum develops there. If the ovum is not developed then the walls of uterus thickens and break down and comes out of the female body with blood through vagina. This process is called menstruation.

4. Cervix: It is a narrow passage forming the lower end of uterus which is made up of strong muscles.

It allows the menstrual blood to enter into the vagina and even direct the sperms to move towards the uterus.

5. Vagina: It is the female reproductive part through which the male releases the sperms during intercourse.

It is mascular tube leading towards the uterus.
