explain fleming left hand rule

according to Fleming left hand rule :
stretch the thumb , forefinger and middle finger of the left hand mutually perpendicular to each other if the forefinger points in the direction of magnetic field , the middle finger in direction of current than the thumb would indicate the direction of the force acting on the conductor.

Fleming introduced two rules the right hand rule and the left hand rule .. the left hand rule is used for electric motor . in an electric motor the electric current and magnetic fields exist ( these are the causes) and they lead to the force that creates the motion (which is the effect) and do the left hand rule is used ... in the left hand rule the index finger is used to show the magnetic field direction and the middle finger is for current flow and the force is shown by the thumb
