1. Sharing the syringes or injections among several people. Mostly the drug abusers who use injections are more prone to it.

2. It may also spread through infected mother to her child.

3. Unprotected sexual intercourse may also result in the spread of AIDS.

4. Transfusing blood from an infected patient suffering from AIDS to the other person.
