Here are the four factors which contributes to social problems both globally as well as locally are -

1. Distribution of wealth unequally

This leads to poverty and hence poor living conditions prevail in the whole world.

2. Disease

This also contributes towards poverty. The most dangerous diseases is the AIDS caused by HIV.

3. Colonisation and inequalities in the past

These are the factors which has left after-effects on the present population of the world.

4. Corruption

It affects the conditions of the people. The government organisations may not do their duties well.
