Fractional distillation is the separation of a mixture into its component parts, or fractions. Generally the component part have boiling point that differ by less than 25°C or 77°F.

Petroleum products are material derived from crude oil(petroleum) as it is possessed in oil refineries. These fuel include or can be blended to give gasoline, jet fuel, diesel etc. Self ignition temperature of petroleum is 247-280°C
