When an object is dropped freely from a certain distance above the earth’s surface under the influence of gravity, it is referred to as free fall.

Such objects under free fall experience a uniform acceleration of 9.8m/s².

hey there!! ☺️☺️ here is the answer

FREEFALL : when an object Falls from any height under the influence of gravitational force only, then the object is to be in free fall/ it is known as free fall.
In the case of free fall no change of direction takes place but the magnitude of velocity changes because of acceleration.

hope this helps you
