Free fall is defined as the motion of a body when gravity is the only (or dominant) force on the body. For example, say a coin which is coming downwards after being thrown upwards is freely-falling under the influence of gravity.

freely falling means when an object has mass and when it is thrown up under the gravitational force it comes down with the same veloicity .example of it is earth .earth is a freely falling body but it is balanced by gravitational forces from the other planets
