Answer:~

Types of frequency distribution:

(A) Ungrouped data :

(A) Ungrouped data : It is the Frequency Distribution of Discrete Variables. It consist of only whole numbers (integer values). It cannot be expressed in fraction.

(A) Ungrouped data : It is the Frequency Distribution of Discrete Variables. It consist of only whole numbers (integer values). It cannot be expressed in fraction.Eg: No. of children, no.of machines etc.The values are whole and complete. The quantities expressed in such a way are generally indivisible.

(B) Grouped Data :

(B) Grouped Data :It is the Frequency Distribution of Continuous Variables. It is capable considering fractional and range values.

(B) Grouped Data :It is the Frequency Distribution of Continuous Variables. It is capable considering fractional and range values. Eg: Height, Weight, Mass etc. The values can be of parts also as the quantities can be divided and expressed.

There are two methods of expressing Grouped Data:

There are two methods of expressing Grouped Data:(i) Exclusive method- In this, each class interval contains values less than the upper limit. The upper class limit of preceding class interval and lower limit of succeeding class interval are same.

(ii) Inclusive Method- In this, each class interval contains values up to upper class limit and including upper class limit. The upper class limit of preceding class and lower limit of succeeding class interval are different.

- Inclusive data has to be converted to Exclusive data in order to find solutions.
