HERE IS YOUR ANSWER :-

✨ if slide or try to slide a body over a surface, the motion is registered by a bonding between the body and the surface. this resistance is represented by a single force and is called friction force.
✨ the force of friction is parallel to the surface and opposite to the direction of intended motion.

Hello friend here is your answer
(^-^) (^-^)

Friction is the force which resists the relative motions on surface. It's the force that acts from the opposite side.

For example when one object is sliding on surface it slows down due to the friction force.
Examples of friction

When you hit a ball with bat on a ground it slows down due time friction.
When you stop pedalling your cycle it slows down due to frictional force acting from opposite direction.

Hope it helps you!
