Without friction

1)we cannot walk

2) A vehicle,Bicycle cannot be started or stopped

3) It would be impossible to climb a tree or pole, fix a nail, to write with a pen

Friction as evil:

1)wear and tear of tyres due to friction.

2) Wear and tear of machinery parts due to friction.

3)Heat produced by friction causes damage to the machine.

4) Extra power needed to overcone friction.
