Cyclonic rainfall, also known as frontal rain, is caused when two air masses of different temperatures meet. Warm air and cool air don´t mix, as they have different densities. As the warm air rises over the heavier cool air, it cools and creates a front; clouds form and produce rain.............

cyclonic rainfall : this type of rainfall is associated with the passage of a cyclone or a depression .there are two types of cyclones they are ,the tropical cyclones and the temperate cyclones . the term cyclone is derived from the greek word 'kyklon' meaning 'revolving '.tropical cycoles are warm-core vortex circulation of tropical origin with a small diameter often of an approximately circular shape ,minimum surface pressure with sustained maximum winds of at least 33m/sec . they are developed on the warm sea surface and move towards the land
