Galvanic cell or voltaic cell is an electrochemical cell that drives electrical energy from spoutaneous redox reaction saking place within the cell.

It generally consists of two different metals immerseal in an electrolytic,or of individual half-cells with different metals and twice ions in solution concerted by a salt-bridge or seperated by porous membrane.
