A miscible liquid can be dissolved readily in some other liquid. The immiscible liquid does not dissolve in other liquids. Can observe meniscus on the liquid

. Example: Ethanol and water.

Liquid which mix together in all proportions and firm a single layer are call miscible liquid. Some example of miscible solutions include water & organic compounds such as alcohols & ketones.

Immiscible liquid include water and many types of oils. Oils & water make a immiscible liquid.
