sex determination in humans

there are 23 pairs of chromosomes in body. out of which 22 pairs are autosomes. chromosomes whose number and morphology does not differ in both male and female is autosomes. remaining 1 pair whose morphology differs is allosomes. allosomes are responsible for sex determination.

in males allosomes are X Y.
in females allosomes are X X.

spermX + ovaX =baby girl(XX)

spermY + ovaX =baby boy(XY)
