Gram Staining....

Bacteria are stained with crystal voilet and iodine solutiin is used as mordant....

Then they arewashed with alcohol and acetone

Then they arewashed with alcohol and acetone Now ,

Then they arewashed with alcohol and acetone Now ,if the purble color reatined then these are gram +v bacteria.

If not then these are gram -ve....

This is all about gram staining ....
