ex. - let us consider two particles a and b of masses m1 and m2 and separated by distance r. then, the force of gravitation (F) acting on the two particles is given by,

F is directly proportional m1× m2

F is directly proportional 1/r²

F is directly proportional m1×m2/r²

F= Gm1m2/r²
