Gravitational force is one of the natural forces in the world.  These are relatively weak forces as compared to electromagnetic forces.
Between any two masses consisting of matter, there exists a gravitational force of attraction proportional to their masses and inversely proportional to the square of the distance.
This is stated and invented by sir Isaac Newton.
Example is the force of attraction between Sun and Earth and  between Earth and Moon.   Due to this force,  Earth revolves around the Sun.  and Moon revolves around Earth.

When you drop an object from a height, it always come down towards the earth. Even if you throw an object upwards, after going up to a certain height, it comes down towards the earth. It happens because the earth pulls all objects towards its centre. This pull exerted by earth on objects is due to the force of gravity. Gravitational force is thus the force of attraction between all objects in the universe .Example1) we can walk conveniently on earth's surface because of gravitational force, else we would have floated away.2) tossing a coin..... After some it will always return to the earth.

Every object in the universe attracts every other object with a force that is directly proportional to the product of their masses and indirectly proportional to the square of their distance.this is known as Gravitational Force.
e.g - force applied by the earth on us, revolution of planets around the sun.
