Explanation:

homologous organs: organ having same origin which may have different functions e.g:- (1)heart of different vertebrates.

(2) Brain of different vertebrates.

(3) forelimbs of all tetrapods have same anatomical structures

(4) forelimbs of frog, lizard, pigeon, rabbit, horse , human

Analogous organs: organ having different origin or different lineage but have same function

Note:- lineage is an evolutionary line from an ancestral specie to present form

e.g :-(1) wings of birds, bat, insect.

(2) flipper of dolphins, flipper of penguins.

(3) eye of an octopus & eye of mammal

(4) hand of chimpanzee, trunk of an elephant.

Explanation:

Homologus organs are those organs which have the same basic structural design and origin but have different functions.

For Example: The forelimbs of humans and the wings of birds look different externally but their skeletal structure is similar.

Analogus organs are those organs which have the different basic structural design and origin but have similar functions.

For Example: The wings of birds and insects.
