In humans, a baby is produced by sexual reproduction in which the fusion of male and female gamate takes place. Once male gamate, i.e. , sperms enter into women's vagina during sexual intercourse, the sperm fertilize the egg which will be present in the fallopian tube during the mid of the menstrual cycle, i.e, 11-14 days. The sperm releases lytic enzymes which make the way for genetic material to enter into the ovum. After this, the egg gets fertilized and the embryo starts developing. After a period of 9 months, the baby comes out due to the rhythemic contractions of uterus
