Explanation:

Recombination of spectrum of colours

When white light passes through first prism it disperses the light into seven colours and when this beam of light enters the second prism which is placed in an inverted position, a white light is obtained when it comes out of the second prism.

Answer:

hello mate

white light is made of seven colors I,e Violet indigo, blue, green, yellow, orange and red.when a ray of white light is passed through a prism, these seven colors gets deviated through different angles according to their wavelength.

now we have a band of seven colours and if we wish to get white light back we place an inverted prism in front of the band of seven colours which when pass through this inverted prism gets combined back and makes up the white light again.
