Answer: A rectangle is, by definition, a quadrilateral with four right angles.

A square is a quadrilateral and it has four right angles. Thus a square satisfies the definition of rectangle. Therefore, every square is a rectangle.

But the reverse is usually false because most rectangles do not have all sides the same length, but all squares do (and that is part of the definition of square).

conclusion: a square is a special type of rectangle.

✒ A square is a 4 sided quadrilateral with all sides equal to each other.

Each angle of a square is a right one.

A rectangle is a 4 sided quadrilateral with opposite sides equal to each other but all of them may or may not be equal to each other.

So a square is definitely a rectangle.

(NOTE-A rectangle is not always a square.)
