since the number of turns in the secondary coil of a step up transformer is more than the primary and the flux linkage is constant throughout both the coils, the secondary emf is higher than the primary side coil.
coming to the current part, since the equivalent resistance in the secondary coil is constant the secondary current is less than the primary side current with the same ratio as the voltage rise with is also equal to the ratio of the number of turns in the primary coil to the number of turns in secondary coil.
