IF THE SOIL IS SUFFERING FROM ACIDITY THEN IT CAN BE CORRECTED BY TREATING
IT WITH MILD BASE .SO,BECAUSE OF THAT
NEUTRALIZATION REACTION WILL TAKE PLACE AND THE ACID PRESENT IN SOIL
GET CANCELLED OUT AND SOIL BECOME
NEUTRAL.
BUT,IN ALKALINITY SOIL SHOULD BE TREATED WITH MILD ACID. WHICH CANCELS
THE EFFECT OF BASE IN SOIL.AND MAKE IT
NEUTRAL.
IN BOTH OF THE WAYS SOIL WILL BECOME
AVAILABLE FOR CULTIVATION.
