As we know that third law of newton is ''Every action force has an equal and opposite reaction force which acts simultanously. For ex.If we took 2 bodies suppose the bullet is shooted on first body the bullet which comes out from gun also acquires force so there is force on both gun and bullet. Explanation:

Action And Reaction Act On Two Different Bodies

let's understand it by taking an simple example.

Suppose,  a box is  lying on the ground then the box will apply force on the ground in downward direction. Then, the downward weight of box is balanced by an equal and opposite force applied by the ground.  Now the force exerted by the weight of the box is action and it's acts on the ground whereas the force exerted by the ground on the box is reaction and it acts on the box . And the box will neither goes up nor goes down the action of the box must be equal and opposite to the reaction of the ground.  It is obvious that the action of the box  on the ground and the reaction of the ground acts on the box.

Thus, action and reaction act on two different bodies .

It is an example of newton's third law of motion.

what is Newton's third law ?

According to Newton's third law of motion when  one body exerts force on another body , the second body exerts an equal and opposite force on the first body . In simple words ,  we can say that every action has an equal and opposite reaction .
