Alagu and Jumman gave the best example in their cases how to give equal judgement. There is no pretence. In case of Jumman, Alagu did not bring his and Jumman's friendship into consideration. He gave the right judgement by imperating Jumman to offer a monthly allowance to her aunt. On the flip side, the same remained in case of Jumman when he acted as the head panch, although theri friendship was altered by the previous hearing. In this way, both of them maintained their dignity.
