Explanation:

When the heater is switched on the nichrome coil becomes red hot and starts to heat the surrounding air. This surrounding air becomes hot and expands rapidly which makes it move up the room . The cold air being denser comes down toward the heater. The heater now heats this cold air and makes it hot. This hot air again expands and move upwards. Hence this process continues until all the air in the room gets heated up
