Hey Sona
As u know metals is formed by ionic or metallic bond and these have charge which transfer the charge from one to other molecules. Thats why metals help to flow current

Metal is considered to be a conductor and when current flows through the conductor, it flows as drift of electrons in the metal.
All conductors contain electrical charges but these move only when there is a potential difference between two diverse points of the conductor. This charge flow is measured in Amperes.
As per the Ohm's law,
V = IR
Direct Current is proportional to the Voltage.
Why electrical current flows and How is it created ?

Electricity flows easily through conductor because the electrons are free to move in it and whenever there is movement of electrons(charge) ,electrical current is created.
Current I = dq/dt.
Electrical Current is the rate of flow of charge.
