At night the bat uses its hearing to navigate its way to prey. Bats catchinsects continuously usingecholocation, an advanced navigation system. The bat emits ultrasonicwaves with very high frequencies. Itscalls are pitched at 20-100 kilohertz, a frequency that is too high-pitched for humans to hear naturally.

Bats dont have eyesight, so they produce a ultrasound which comes back when it reflected from an object. so with this ability a bat can catch there prey.
