One example of conventional reuse is the doorstep delivery of milk in glass bottles; other examples include the retreading of tires and the use of returnable/reusable plastic boxes, shipping containers, instead of single-use corrugated fiberboard boxes.

We can reuse substances of daily use like making containers out of bottles, window cleaners and gift wrappers out of newspapers.
Cases of waste repurposing strategies:
- An obvious logical application for a bottle is as a flower box.
- Find a 1.5-litre plastic bottle and cut off the upper part, keeping the bottom. It's prepared to be transformed into a planter.
- Newspapers can be used as gift packers for fine porcelain and cleaning products.
- We can clean windows without using harmful chemicals by soaking newspaper in water mixed with a few drops of white vinegar.
- With a combination of scissors and many classic materials such as bedsheets, towels and cotton shirts, we can create washcloths.
