hey mate

here is your answer

in our country the main cause of social inequalities is the caste system. wayback in Asian Times this system divided the society into high and low caste. Mainly on the basis of profession. the higher caste enjoy many privilege that were denied to the lower caste. people were not allowed to mix with members of other caste or to eat with them or marry them. members of the higher caste even humiliated and exploited lower caste people. the caste system has now become for less rigid then it used to be. travelling together in public transport, abiding by the same laws, studying and working together in institutions. eating together in restaurants , etc. have made this possible. but the caste system still exists. therefore, high and low castes also exst, and so do the traditional differences in social status between them. the lower castes still feel deprived and marginalised.
