Explain how CO2 is able to control fires.

for combination there r three factors integral for combustion they r oxygen,heat,and fuel.if we can take away any one of em the thing stops burning.
oxygen is essential for burning.by spraying co2, it covers the material like a blanket reducing the oxygen reaching the substance.this will stop combustion
