Deforestation results in drought and floods.
When more and more trees are cut there are no roots to bind the soil and to prevent soil erosion as a result soil flows with water. Many a times people relate the existence of trees as a cause of existence of water , but it is trees that hold the water. If there are no trees water will get uncontrollable that can cause flood or drought.
