deforestation means cutting trees in large area which result when rains happens then the trees were not able to stop rain to come directly on the earth which results the erosion of top layers of soil and erosion of fertile soil which cause desertification.

deforestation is the process of cutting down tree and clearing forests or development purposes whereas deforestation is a harmful disaster for every survival body .
trees which grows on land have strong connection between the soil and them and when u try to separate them , the soil gets loosen and causes erosion
and if we cut down forests continue the ground totally gets loosen and that causes erosion and when the soil is erased fully from the ground that is called desertification when there is no soil on the ground and u see lots of rocky surfaces
