If a large area is deforested, this damages the normal water cycle. The trees take up less water with their roots and release less water from their leaves. Because the leaves release less water, the air is less moist. When the air is less moist, it is less able to produce rainfall.

Trees help in bringing Rainfall . When deforestation is occurring the trees r cut down and rainfall doesn't occur so in Rajasthan like places due to not having enough trees the rainfall is less in that type of place. If trees r cut down it damaged the water cycle
