Explain how do we see diffrrent colours of an object

it depends upon the nature of atoms of the substance as the atoms can aborb some wavelengths of the visible region and others it will reflect which will be catched by the observer and the observer will see the object of the same colour as reflected by it

Light receptors within the eye transmit messages to the brain, which produces the familiar sensations of color. Newton observed that color is not inherent in objects. Rather, the surface of an object reflects some colors and absorbs all the others. We perceive only the reflected colors.
