as we know evaporation is a surface phenomena so if the surface already has much moisture(as during humidity), the rate of evaporation will be comparatively slower than as in the dryer conditions.

Hello Mate!

Moisture in atmosphere effect rate of evaporation.

How ?

Answer :- Every atmosphere holds a definite amount of water vapour. When this rate of water vapour inreases then the atmosphere refuse to take any more water molecule from the wet object. The heat forces the water molecules to break and join atmosphere but the atmosphere refuse as it already hold enough water. That's why cloths don't dry fatser in moiturised day.

Hope it helps☺!✌
